Creating a culture of excellence is the passion of Debbie Faulkner, Sound’s Vice President, People Support. Debbie leads a strong team of resource specialists dedicated to building an organization empowered to support more than 400 dedicated Sound hospitalists and hospitalist RNs. The complex structure of a hospitalist organization demands coordinating skilled people who can create and implement a unified vision. Debbie is also responsible for developing the organization’s benefits offerings and compensation plans. On the non-clinical colleague side of recruiting, she is tasked with finding the right people for Sound Physicians. Debbie manages the daily achievements of the People Support team in serving the entire organization.
Debbie holds a B.A. in economics and political science from Willamette University and an M.B.A. from Seattle University. Debbie has more than 15 years of experience helping fast growing organizations achieve their objectives. Prior to joining Sound, Debbie was Vice President of Human Resources at Onlineshoes.com and Senior Director for Human Resources at Drugstore.com. Debbie was also Vice President of Operations for Active Voice, a division of NEC America.
