
Jim leads the Sound Physician implementation team and coordinates the integration of Sound’s people, processes and technologies into a new hospital partner’s organization. Once the hospitalist program is established, Jim’s work with the partner continues. His team manages SoundTransitions™ Patient Call Center to follow up with patients post-discharge. The team also manages relationships between the primary care physicians in the communities that Sound serves. Beyond the acute care and post-acute phases, Jim’s team is responsible for Sound’s revenue cycle and payor relations efforts.
Jim has over 20 years experience in healthcare management with more than 200 strategic operational and business planning engagements. Throughout his career, he has published numerous articles and white papers on healthcare financial management. He holds a B.A. from Pomona College and M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
