Sound Role

Maude Laslie is responsible for the strategic planning and infrastructure development to bridge Sound’s quality services from short-term acute hospital settings into post-acute care settings. Maude’s team is innovating care by bringing the benefits of hospitalist medicine into post-acute facilities with a heightened focus on improving care transitions and controlling hospital readmissions. Sound’s post-acute physician teams deliver a high presence, high quality care model unique in the post-acute environment.

Sound Experience

Maude joined Sound in 2002 and has significantly contributed to Sound’s vision of advancing hospital medicine. She is applying experience gained from developing Sound’s successful hospital medicine program to refining and expanding its post-acute offering. Before joining Sound, Maude worked in post-graduate research management, program development, strategic planning and contract administration at both the University of Georgia and Florida State University. Maude holds an M.A. in English literature from Florida State University.
