Company Leadership

• Shawn M. Burns – Vice President Physician Services
  Mr. Burns oversees all physician recruitment efforts. He and his team work in conjunction with Sound's Chief Medical Officers to identify and recruit goal-oriented hospitalist physicians dedicated to providing the highest standard of medical care. Mr. Burns has over 18 years of physician and medical recruitment experience. Prior to joining Sound, he was National Director of Medical/Scientific Recruitment for Quest Diagnostics. Prior to Quest, he led all recruitment activities for DaVita, the nation's largest dialysis operator and MedCath, an operator of specialty heart hospitals. Mr. Burns holds a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University.
