Barbara Fry is Sound’s Regional Vice President of Operations for the North Central Region. Barbara works closely with Sound’s hospitalist teams and the administrators at Sound’s partner hospitals to ensure a high level of communication and program implementation. She is based in Denver, Colorado.
Prior to joining Sound Physicians, Barbara has held a number of roles in healthcare management and operations. Most recently Barbara held the role of Chief Operations Officer which included risk management strategies at Serio Physician Management. Serio is a for-profit, regionally recognized, hospital-based physician management services organization servicing 11 physician groups in 16 healthcare facilities in three states. She holds a L.L.B. degree in law. Barbara is also a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Certified Medical Practice Executive with the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
