Robert Zipper, MD, leads clinical operations for the West Region. His responsibilities include organizational leadership and development and regional operational performance. In his role, Dr. Zipper works directly with the Chief Hospitalists and Regional Vice President of Operations to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care and the alignment of performance with partner hospital goals.
Dr. Zipper is a graduate of Wayne State University and subsequently earned an M.M.M. degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Rob is a member of the inaugural class of Fellow in Hospital Medicine (FHM) and serves on the Society of Hospital Medicine’s Quality Improvement Committee. He is certified in Health Care Quality Management from the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians.
