Sean oversees the organizations’ accounting practices, develops budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions. He directs financial strategy, planning and forecasts, working with Sound’s leadership team. Sean is tasked with executing efficient operations. He leads Sound Physician team members to be excellent stewards of our business, ensuring we manage and preserve the value of Sound Physicians. Since joining Sound in 2007 Sean has built an exceptional team of colleagues who are adept at managing the fiscal intricacies of hospital medicine.
As a senior member of Sound’s leadership team, Sean brings a wealth of experience in global controllership, compliance and complex financial reporting. He formerly served as Global Controller for GE Healthcare IT Solutions where he coordinated mergers and acquisitions. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Business Administration from Brigham Young University and is a graduate of the GE Experienced Financial Leadership program.
