Measuring performance at our partner hospitals, leading the creation of action plans to drive performance and designing solutions to serve our clients is the work Tom focuses on by leading the team of regional executives in his role as Sound’s Vice President of Regional Operations and Informatics. Tom works closely with each of Sounds regional leadership teams to create successful practice sites at our partner hospitals. Tom is also responsible for designing growth models for existing hospital teams and future hospital and post-acute partners. The informatics team he leads is responsible for the data analysis on performance metrics assessing outcomes and individual site performance against Medicare and Sound benchmarks.
Tom’s real-world experience and business acumen greatly benefit Sound’s hospital partners as they face the demanding fiscal challenges of healthcare today. He holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
