Roberta Luskin-Hawk, MD, serves as the Chief Medical Officer for the East Region of Sound Physicians, managing operations, quality, and hospital partnerships for our hospital and emergency medicine practices. Dr. Luskin-Hawk has served as an infectious disease clinician, residency faculty, and National Institutes of Health-funded clinical researcher, and for 14 years was an individual and regional hospital CEO. From urban to rural and teaching to non-teaching environments, she’s worked in both critical access and medium-sized hospitals with advanced capabilities. Her passion is around improving health outcomes and health equity, communication, team building, and operational excellence.
Dr. Luskin-Hawk earned her Doctor of Medicine with honors from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She completed her Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of Chicago Medical Center and is board certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine.
